– It was a carbon copy performance for No. 8 Louisiana on Saturday which led to an 8-0 (5 inn.) win over Coastal Carolina at Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park. For the second straight day, Louisiana (45-4, 23-0 Sun Belt) would collect all of the runs necessary for the win in its first few at bats as Gerry Glasco’s squad plated four runs in both the first and second inning to distance themselves from Coastal Carolina (33-17, 11-12 Sun Belt).
