Arkansas State Claims 2023 Sun Belt Women's Cross Country Championship

FOLEY, Ala. – The Arkansas State women won the 2023 Sun Belt Women's Cross Country Championship on Saturday at Graham Creek Nature Preserve in Foley. It marked the Red Wolves’ fourth title in five years.

Coastal Carolina junior Molly Jones repeated as the women’s 5K individual champion. She ran 16:37.9 to win her second consecutive conference cross country title with a record-setting finish in 2022.

The Arkansas State women earned their fifth overall team championship. The
Red Wolves scored 48 points, while James Madison was second with 89. Marshall (101), Coastal Carolina (124) and App State (125) also finished in the top-five.
