NEW ORLEANS – The Arkansas State women have been predicted to win the 2024 Sun Belt Conference Cross Country Championships as determined by a vote of the leagues head coaches. The Sun Belt on Thursday released its 2024 Cross Country Preseason Coaches’ Poll.
The Red Wolves, who won their fifth overall championship and fourth in the last five years in 2023, tallied 162 total points with 10-of-13 first-place votes. James Madison was picked to finish second with 151 points and a pair of first-place vote.
The 2024 Sun Belt Conference Championships are set for Friday, November 1 at the Graham Creek Nature Preserve in Foley, Ala. The women are scheduled to run the 5K at 9:15 a.m.
