NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference on Saturday announced the bracket for the 2023 Sun Belt Volleyball Tournament.
This year’s event will be contested November 15-19 at the Foley Events Center in Foley, Ala. Each of the tournament’s 13 matches will be broadcast on ESPN+. This will mark the fourth consecutive year that the Sun Belt Championship will take place in Foley.
Tickets may be purchased online through the Foley Sports Tourism Box Office. Tickets are sold on a daily basis and are $10 per day for adults and $5 per day for children ages 12 and under. Students of Sun Belt Conference institutions are admitted free with a valid student ID.
The 2023 bracket was determined by winning percentage against divisional foes only. The top-two seeds on both the East and West sides earn automatic byes to the quarterfinal round.
Coastal Carolina claimed its fourth Sun Belt Conference regular-season championship, finishing league play with a 14-2 mark and a 19-9 record overall. The Chanticleers were a perfect 12-0 against divisional opponents and earn the top spot in the Sun Belt East.
Texas State secured the West Division’s top seed by posting a 12-4 record against Sun Belt opposition and an 11-1 tally against divisional foes. The Bobcats are 19-8 overall.
