NEW ORLEANS – App State’s Calbert Guest and Troy’s Jaggerd Moore each set new personal records to earn Sun Belt Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week.

Calbert Guest, App State

Mountaineers’ junior Calbert Guest clocked a personal best of 8:57.83 in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase, placing sixth overall at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C. on April 21. Guest's time moves him to fifth in the App State all-time list for the event. The Fort Collins, Colo. native leads the Sun Belt, ranks 11th in the Southeast Region, is 36th in the NCAA East Prelim qualifying list, and stands 85th in the NCAA overall in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase category.

Trojans’ freshman Jaggerd Moore matched his indoor and outdoor PR of 2.10m in the Men's High Jump at the Crimson Tide Invitational. Moore continues to secure his position at 4th on the Sun Belt rankings and 26th on the NCAA East Preliminary list.
