LEXINGTON, Ky. – Coastal Carolina beach volleyball head coach Collin Wilson was recognized by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) as part of the 2024 class of Thirty Under 30 Beach Award winners.

Thirty Under 30 Beach honors up-and-coming coaches at all levels of beach volleyball and the recipients serve in a range of roles, from head coach to volunteer assistant to club director. This marks Wilson's second time making the Thirty Under 30 list. He was also honored in 2021.

In his first season as head coach in 2024, Wilson guided the Chanticleers to a 27-10 overall record as Coastal set a program record for wins in a season and advanced to the Sun Belt Conference Beach Volleyball Tournament championship match. The Chanticleers also won a record 17 consecutive matches and had eight all-conference selections. Additionally, Madison Allred and Raychel Ehlers were honored as an AVCA Top Flight duo after going 19-3 at the No. 5 flight and became the winningest pair in program history.
