25 Sun Belt Women’s Track & Field and Cross Country Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

NEW ORLEANS – 25 Sun Belt women’s track and field and cross country student-athletes were named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Women’s Track & Field Team, announced this week.
 
25 total student-athletes from the league were named to the list, with Arkansas State and Troy leading the way with five honorees. Marshall, Texas State and ULM each had three honorees. App State, Coastal Carolina and Southern Miss each had two.
 
To be nominated for CSC Academic All-District honors, a student-athlete must be a sophomore in academic and athletic standing, have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA at their current institution, and have finished in the top-50 individually at a 2024 NCAA regional cross country meet or rank in the top-50 in the region in an individual event indoor or outdoor track & field event.
 
Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced July 15, 2025.
