NEW ORLEANS – Arkansas State’s Kamil Przybyla and ULM’s Gionni Wiltz have earned recognition as the Sun Belt Men’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week for their performances over the last week.
Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Kamil Przybyla, Arkansas State

Sophomore distance runner Kamil Przybyla from Arkansas State surpassed his previous personal best in the men's 800 meters by 2.98 seconds and claimed the event title at the Fairgrounds Invitational in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Wodzislaw Slaski, Poland, native clocked in at 1:49.34 on Feb. 6 and jumped to second place in the Red Wolves' indoor history for the event. With the time, Przybyla leads all Sun Belt indoor 800-meter runners by over six-tenths of a second this season. It also stands as the eighth-fastest 800-meter time in the South Central Region.
Men’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Gionni Wiltz, ULM

ULM freshman Gionni Wiltz extended his three-meet podium streak, and captured first place at the Woo Pig Classic with a personal-best 2.15m/7-0.5 mark in the men's high jump. His mark ranks among the best in the South Central Region, tying for fourth on the list, and ranks 26th on the NCAA Division I list.
