Troy senior Yeray Andres Pastor earned two wins at the No. 3 position this weekend in road matches at Kennesaw State and Samford. Andres Pastor's win on Saturday was the Trojans' first singles win of the match and helped secure a 4-2 win over the Owls. The Valencia, Spain native won both matches in straight sets, defeating his first opponent from Kennesaw State 6-3, 6-1 and taking down Arredondo from Samford 6-2, 6-2 the next day.
Men’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
Gabriele Datei / Arthur Attrill, Georgia State
The doubles team of Gabriele Datei and Arthur Attrill won both of their doubles matches for Georgia State. The Panther pair defeated the No. 48 pairing of Alvarez and Sparks from Tennessee Tech 7-5. The duo followed up with a 6-4 win on court one against Kennesaw State.
