Kale Mize, Southern Miss

Redshirt sophomore Kale Mize from Southern Miss went 4-0 on the weekend, posting a 2-0 record in singles and a 2-0 mark in doubles to help lead the Golden Eagles to wins over New Orleans and Norfolk State. He defeated Rouleau-Maully from UNO on court one in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2 after winning his doubles match 6-2. Against Norfolk State, Mize defeated Andrzejczak on court one, 6-4, 6-4, and his doubles match 6-3.
Men’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
Darius Balan / Gianluca Filoramo, Louisiana
Louisiana's doubles tandem of Darius Balan and Gianluca Filoramo enjoyed a 2-0 week on Court 3, highlighted by starting the week off with a win over No. 7 LSU's duo of Rudy Ceccon and Matias Ponce De Leon on Thursday. Their week was capped off by clinching the doubles point for Louisiana against Norfolk State on Sunday, capturing a thrilling 7-5 victory over Boris Lunin and Dominik Simunovic. Balan and Filoramo stayed one step ahead of the Spartans' duo by notching a go-ahead tally after each of the five ties in the match.
