Little Rock 68, UTA 65
LITTLE ROCK- The Trojans would use some clutch defense and timely free-throw shooting down the stretch to hold off a late Maverick come back in the final minutes to grab a 68-65 win Saturday on their home floor.

Ronjanae DeGray would lead all scorers with 19 points while going 8-14 from the floor. Kyra Collier was perfect from the free throw line (10-10) as she would tally her career high in made free throws.

Louisiana 52, ULM 45
LAFAYETTE – Led by sophomore center Ty'Reona Doucet's eighth double-double of the season, and a strong defensive team performance, Louisiana Women's Basketball (5-11, 3-2 SBC) won its third straight game, taking down the ULM Warhawks (7-9, 1-4 SBC), 52-45, in a Saturday afternoon dogfight at the CAJUNDOME.

Doucet finished with a team-high 12 points and 10 rebounds, recording her first double-double in Sun Belt Conference play, while freshman guard Brandi Williams tied Doucet's point total, finishing with 12 points. Freshman guard Andrea Cournoyer added 11 points to give Louisiana three scorers in double-figures on the day.

Georgia State 84, Troy 80
ATLANTA - Jada Lewis scored the go-ahead layup with 16 seconds left and Victoria Middlebrooks sealed it with the steal and break-away layup in the game’s final seconds as Georgia State overcame an 18-point deficit to upset Troy 84-80 Saturday at GSU Sports Arena.

Trailing by 18 in the third quarter, Georgia State (9-8, 3-3 Sun Belt) scored 15 of the final 19 points of the quarter and trailed by just six entering the fourth. After a layup by Madison Ervin with a minute left cut the Troy lead to two, Janessa Murphy knocked the ball away, Ervin came up with it, and found her for the lay in to tie the game at 80. After a miss by Troy (14-3, 5-1 Sun Belt), GSU secured the rebound and Lewis came up with the game-winner on the other end.

South Alabama 69, Georgia Southern 53
STATESBORO, Ga. – The University of South Alabama women's basketball team downed Georgia Southern 69-53 on the road at Hanner Fieldhouse in Statesboro, Ga., Saturday afternoon completing its Georgia Swing with back-to-back wins, and improving to 14-3 on the season.

Savannah Jones hit a three-pointer for the first field-goal of the game and from there, the Jags lead was never in doubt. The Jags connected on ten three-three-pointers for the second game in a row, are now 7-0 on the season when they hit double-digits threes. Jones put up a game-high 17 points, shooting 7-of-16 from the floor.

Texas State 85, Arkansas State 62
JONESBORO, Ark. – The Texas State women's basketball team (9-9, 4-2 Sun Belt) ran away from the Arkansas State Red Wolves (8-9, 3-3 Sun Belt), earning an 85-62 victory on Saturday afternoon inside First National Bank Arena.

Texas State's 85-point afternoon marked the highest single-game output for the Bobcats in Sun Belt Conference play since TXST defeated Appalachian State 92-50 on Feb. 3, 2018. The scoring outburst amounted to the most points scored against an NCAA Division I opponent this season.

Appalachian State 67, Coastal Carolina 53
BOONE, N.C. - Appalachian State University women's basketball (9-7, 3-2 SBC ) used a dominating fourth quarter to run away with a 67-53 victory against Coastal Carolina (8-9, 0-5 SBC) on Saturday afternoon at the Holmes Center.

Madi Story scored a game-high 26 points, including 11 of her 15 points second-half points in the fourth quarter. Story shot 10-for-20 from the field with a season-high four 3-pointers and added six boards. The redshirt senior was a catalyst in holding the Sun Belt's leading scorer, DJ Williams (17.2 ppg) to just 5-of-13 shooting for 15 points.
