- App State women's soccer earned its first Sun Belt win, defeating Georgia Southern 2-1 on Sunday afternoon at Ted Mackorell Soccer Complex. Appalachian improves to 4-5-2 on the season and .500 in the Sun Belt at 1-1-1, while Georgia Southern is 4-5-1 and is handed its first loss in league action (1-1-1 SBC). App State stays undefeated at home with a 4-0-2 mark.

Terrell Hat Trick, Freshmen Contributions, Push Troy to 7-1 Victory over ULM
TROY, Ala.
-- The Troy University Trojans, behind a seven-goal barrage, defeated The University of Louisiana at Monroe 7-1 Sunday afternoon at a steamy Troy Soccer Complex. The six goal margin is the largest Sun Belt Conference victory in program history.

Making her first career Troy (7-2-3, 2-1-1 Sun Belt) start, freshman Taytum Terrell tallied her first three career goals, while her classmate Gabby Cossette made three saves in her 45 first-half minutes of work to earn her first career victory.

Early Strike Sets Tone as South Alabama Defeats Georgia State
MOBILE, Ala.
– University of South Alabama graduate Chloe McGlade scored just 5:07 into the contest and the defense held Georgia State to just two shots on goal in a 3-0 victory Sunday afternoon at The Cage. The Jaguars are unbeaten in their last five games and go to 8-2-2 overall and 3-0-1 in the Sun Belt Conference. The Panthers fall to 4-6-1 and 1-2.

Penalty Kick Propels @AStateSoccer Past Texas State, 1-0

– Dana O'Boye scored the lone goal of the match on a penalty kick in the 28th minute as the Arkansas State soccer team held on for a 1-0 victory over Texas State, Sunday afternoon at the A-State Soccer Park.

Following the win, the Red Wolves improved to 7-3 overall and 3-0 in conference while the Bobcats fell to 4-5-2 overall and 0-2-1 in the SBC.

Little Rock and Louisiana Battle to 1-1 Draw
LITTLE ROCK, Ark.
– The excitement and the harshness of soccer was on full display Sunday as Little Rock scored the potential winner in the 84th minute only to see Louisiana even the match less than 30 seconds later, the final score in a 1-1 draw between the two Sun Belt Conference opponents.
