Huge Fourth Quarter Sends Louisiana to 79-73 Win at Troy
TROY, Ala. – Louisiana scored a season-high 30 points in the final quarter behind a career-high, 14-point performance from freshman Makayia Hallmon to power its way to an impressive 79-73 win on the road at Troy.

Trailing by three points entering the final quarter, Louisiana put together an incredible 10 minutes of basketball by shooting 63.6 percent (7-for-11) from the field and 87.5 percent (14-for-16) from the charity stripe to outscore Troy, 30-21, and steal the victory.

App State Women's Basketball Completes Comeback, Downs Texas State in OT
BOONE, N.C. - After trailing by as much as 16 in the first half, App State women's basketball completed the comeback with a 73-65 overtime victory against Texas State on Saturday afternoon at the Holmes Center.

Pre Stanley fired in a season and game-high 25 points on 10-of-21 shooting with six rebounds and tied a personal high with five steals. Having the best game of her career in a Black and Gold uniform was Haile McDonald. After tying her career mark with 12 points on Thursday, the sophomore broke out for a personal-best 17 points (12 in the second half) and nine boards. McDonald shot 6-of-9 from the floor.

Red Wolves Defeat Georgia Southern For Third Straight Victory
JONESBORO, Ark. (1/11/19) – Despite being out-rebounded 52-to-28, Arkansas State once again found its stroke at the free-throw line, going 13-of-15 in the fourth quarter, to earn a hard-fought 69-62 victory against Georgia Southern on Saturday at First National Bank Arena.

The Red Wolves (6-9, 3-1 SBC) shot 45.3 percent from the floor (24-of-53) while dishing out 18 assists on those 24 made baskets to help oust the Eagles (5-10, 2-2) for their third straight victory. Three players scored in double figures for A-State, led by 17 points from Peyton Martin, who shot 6-of-7 from the field and 5-of-7 at the charity stripe.

Senior Guards Williams and Cash Lead No. 21 CCU Past UTA for Share of League Lead
CONWAY - Senior guard DJ Williams scored nine of her game-high 21 points in the final period as No. 21 Coastal Carolina earned a share of the Sun Belt conference lead with a 62-56 win over Texas Arlington Saturday afternoon at the HTC Center. The win lifted the Chanticleers to 13-2 overall and 3-1 in the league, while UTA fell to 9-7 and 3-1 with the loss.

Williams had nine of her team's 14 points in the final quarter when Coastal needed them the most. Coastal also got 13 points and nine rebounds from senior guard Torrie Cash, the smallest player on the court at 5'6", and 10 points from sophomore forward Aja Blount, including nine of them in the second half.

Little Rock Defense Shuts Down Panthers
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – For the first time this season, Little Rock built itself an impressive halftime lead. Then the young team had to learn how to hold on to it.

Consider the Trojans quick learners. Little Rock (5-10, 3-1 Sun Belt) ended the game on a 7-0 run and held Georgia State (4-11, 1-3) scoreless over the final three minutes to clinch the 66-46 victory Saturday afternoon, the program's 38th consecutive home win in conference play.

JAG WOMEN’S BASKETBALL RALLIES TO DEFEAT ULM
MOBILE, La. – Shaforia Kines led a trio of University of South Alabama women's basketball players in double figures with 17 points on Saturday as the Jaguars came from behind to earn a 72-63 Sun Belt Conference victory over ULM at the Mitchell Center.

Damaya Telemaque and Antoinette Lewis finished with 16 and 15 points, respectively, after each posted eight in the final quarter to help South improve to 7-9 and 2-2 in the Sun Belt. Kennedi Centers scored eight points as well, while she and Lewis shared team-high honors with nine rebounds.
