Ward set career highs in points on back-to-back nights as Georgia Southern earned a split with first-place Troy over the weekend. The freshman guard delivered career-highs in points (17) and rebounds (15) in Friday night's 96-91 win over the Trojans which snapped a 17-game losing streak to Troy dating back to 1978. She added five steals and three assists in the victory. On Saturday, Ward scored 20 point and pulled down nine rebounds. For the week, Ward averaged 18.5 points, 12.0 rebounds, 3 steals and 2.5 assists per game.
