NEW ORLEANS – App State’s Caleb Kirchhoff and Annie Amundsen each led their squads to a first-place finish at the Wildcat Invite to sweep the final week of Sun Belt Cross Country Runners of the Week. 
 
Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week

Mountaineers’ senior Caleb Kirchhoff finished sixth at the Wildcat Invite to help pace the men’s squad. The Indian Trail, N.C. native led his team to a first-place finish in the event with a time of 25:36.3.
 
Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week
Annie Amundsen
(Jr. | Naperville, Ill.)
 
Mountaineers’ junior Annie Amundsen led the App State women at the Wildcat Invite with a second-place finish overall. The Naperville, Ill. native finished the 5K in a time of 18:48.7.
