Georgia Southern Maintains 36-Hole Lead at Sun Belt Women's Golf Championship

CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL 

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – (Second Round Results | Third Round Pairings) On moving day at the 2022 Sun Belt Conference Women’s Golf Championship, reigning event champion Coastal Carolina (+19, 595) fired a tournament-low 4-over par 292 to pull within two strokes of tournament-leading Georgia Southern (+17, 593).  
 
The Eagles shot 11-over par 299 in Round 2—the lone club to turn in back-to-back sub-300 team scores at the par-72, 6,283-yard LPGA International Hills Course—to maintain the 36-hole lead. 
 
Arkansas State (+23, 599) will join the Chanticleers and Eagles in Tuesday’s top pairing. 
 
Georgia Southern freshman Sarunchana Rattanasin (-2, 142) shot 2-under par 70, the sole under-par round on Monday, to claim the 36-hole individual lead. Her teammate, fifth-year Mia Kness (+1, 145), and UTA junior Heidrun Hlynsdottir (+1, 145) sit three strokes back with 18 holes to play.  
 
Texas State (+24, 600), Georgia State (+28, 604), South Alabama (+28, 604), UTA (+29, 605), Troy (+30, 606), ULM (+31, 607), Little Rock (+32, 608) and App State (+38, 614) round out the conference championship field. 

The third round of the 54-hole championship begins at 8:00 a.m. ET on Tuesday and will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and live scored via Golfstat
