NEW ORLEANS – Old Dominion fourth year women’s golfer Puneet Bajwa claims her second Women’s Golfer of the Week award of the season and fourth of her career after taking first place in the Evie Odom Invitational at Princess Anne Country Club in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Bajwa carded a 7-under par 203 over the two-day event, opening the tournament with a 2-under 68. Her 5-under par 65 in round two of action set a new career best round and moved her up the individual leaderboard. The Mohali, India, native finished the week off with an even 70 in round three to tie for the top individual mark among the field.

She averaged 3.06 strokes on par-3s, 3.83 strokes on par-4s and 4.67 strokes on par-5s across the event. Her 11 birdies and 39 putts for par led Old Dominion in both categories. Her efforts helped the Monarchs finish ninth as a team and earned her second career medalist performance in her history at the Evie Odom Invitational. She has now finished in the top 10 in three of her four events this fall.

Bajwa previously earned second team All-SBC honors in 2024 and notched on the All-SBC Third Team a year ago.
