NEW ORLEANS – Southern Miss golfer Louise Cuyvers shot 12-under par to take her first career individual title at The Judson to earn the first Sun Belt Women’s Golf Weekly honor of her career.
 
Cuyvers, a junior from Lincent, Belgium, opened her weekend with a 5-under 67, the best individual round of the weekend, despite opening with a bogey – her only hole over par of the round. Her opening card gave her the lead early on and she never looked back, going 3-under (69) and 4-under (68) to the finish six shots ahead of the tournament’s runner-up.
 
She posted six birdies in each round to lead the field with 18 total. Cuyvers tied for the individual best on Par 3s (-1) and led outright on Par 4s (-5) and Par 5s (-6). Over the 54-hole tournament, she finished par or better on 48 holes and no worse than bogey on the remaining six, the lowest of any individual.
 
Cuyvers earned All-Sun Belt Second Team honors last season and finished fourth overall at the 2026 Sun Belt Conference Championship. Her 3-under total tied for the seventh-lowest total in conference history at the championship event, earning her a place on the 2026 All-Sun Belt Tournament team.
