NEW ORLEANS – Ten Sun Belt Conference women’s soccer players earned All-Region Recognition from the United Soccer Coaches announced Tuesday.
 
2023 Sun Belt Regular Season Champions South Alabama had four student-athletes named to the All-Southeast Region, including Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year Abby Jacobs and Sun Belt Player and Offensive Player of the Year Gabby Hollar. They were joined by First Team All-Conference teammate Gracie Wilson and Second Team All-Conference teammate Chiara Singarella.
 
The 2023 Sun Belt Tournament Champion Old Dominion also earned a pair of honors as Sun Belt Goalkeeper of the Year Emily Bredek earned Second Team All-Southeast Region honors. She was joined by Sun Belt First Team All-Conference member and the Tournament's Most Outstanding Player Ece Turkoglu.
 
James Madison added a pair of selections to the Second Team All-Southeast Region. Sun Belt First Team All-Conference member Suwaiabatu Mohammed was joined by teammate and Second Team All-Conference member Brittany Munson.
 
Georgia Southern earned recognition in 2022 Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year and 2023 First Team All-Conference member Sade Heinrichs. App State earned accolades as well in Sun Belt Second Team All-Conference member Izzi Wood.
 
From the All-Region selections, the All-American Teams will be determined and announced later this week.
