CHAMPIONSHIP CENTRAL | ROUND 1 RESULTS | ROUND 2 PAIRINGS
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Led by junior Marine Griffaut, Texas State fired a two-under-par 286 Sunday to lead the field on the opening day of the 2023 Sun Belt Women’s Golf Championship held at LPGA International.
The Bobcats were the only team in the first round to finish under par and placed all four of their scorers in the top-20 of the field individually.
ULM stands five strokes back in second place after a three-over-par 291, while Georgia Southern is in third with a four-over-par 292. Arkansas State (296, +8) and Old Dominion (297, +9) round out the top-five team totals through the first round.
Griffaut and Old Dominion’s Leah Onosato stand atop the individual leaderboard, both carding four-under-par 68s on Sunday. They were among six golfers to shoot better than par over the opening 18 holes.
The second round of the 54-hole championship begins at 8 a.m. ET Monday with
