ULM Leads Sun Belt Women’s Golf Championship Heading Into Final Round

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Led by senior Chantal Dueringer, ULM leads the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Women’s Golf Championship field by three strokes through the opening 36 holes at LPGA International. The final round will take place on Tuesday with an 8 a.m. ET start time. 

The Warhawks, who shot a field-best five-over-par 293 on Monday, hold a three-stroke advantage heading into the event’s final day. All four of ULM’s scorers currently rank among the top-10 golfers individually. 

ULM sits in first place with an eight-over-par two-round total of 584. Texas State (587, +11), Arkansas State (592, +16), Georgia Southern (594, +18) and South Alabama (602, +26) comprise the top-five spots on the team leaderboard. 

Old Dominion’s Leah Onosato leads all individuals in the field with a three-under-par two-round total of 141 (68-73). Arkansas State’s Olivia Schmidt turned in the best score of the day with a three-under-par 69. She is tied for second with a two-under-par 142 (73-69), joining Dueringer (71-71).

The final round of the 54-hole championship begins at 8 a.m. ET Tuesday with live scoring through Golfstat. ESPN+ will air live broadcast coverage beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET.
