NEW ORLEANS – Marshall boasts both the men’s and women’s golfer of the week with Ryan Bilby and Emily McLatchey earning the honors.

Men’s Golfer of the Week
Ryan Bilby, Marshall
(Sr., Follansbee, W.Va.)
 
Bilby finished in a tie for second after firing off one of the top rounds of his spring season shooting a 9-under (63) in the opening round of the 2025 Loyola Intercollegiate. The senior’s 9-under was tied for the 2nd lowest round-to-par in Marshall Men's Golf history and the third-lowest score in program history. Bilby went on to shoot 1-under in the second round and 2-under in the final round at the par-72 course at Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz. He led the tournament field of 116 competitors with a total of 21 birdies through three rounds.

Women’s Golfer of the Week
Emily McLatchey, Marshall
(Sr., Winter Park, Fla.)

McLatchey was one of four players in the 75-person field to shoot par or better and finished in a tie for second at the 2025 RiverTowne Invitational. McLatchey kicked off the first-round shooting par, before going 1-under in round two. In the final round McLatchey shot 1-over par to finish one shot off a tie for first place. The senior finished the week with nine birdies, leading Marshall to a second place team finish.
