NEW ORLEANS – Troy’s Zay Dyer earned her 20
th double-double of the season last weekend tying her for the most in the nation, earning Sun Belt women’s basketball player of the week.

Dyer netted her 19
th and 20
th double-doubles of the season last week while leading Troy to its fourth consecutive win. The senior had a 16-point, 11 rebound game versus South Alabama, followed by a 21-point, 20 rebound game in the teams win over Southern Miss.
Dyer leads the league in rebounds per game (13.0) and double-doubles (20), while ranking ninth in points (14.6). The Atlanta native’s 20 double-doubles tie for the most in the nation so far this season.
Troy is currently tied at the top of the Sun Belt standings. Dyer and the Trojan’s will finish the regular season on the road at Arkansas State and South Alabama.
