Sun Belt Women's Basketball Programs Participate in Play4Kay Games

NEW ORLEANS – Sun Belt Conference women’s basketball programs will be participating in Play4Kay, raising awareness for the fight against women's cancers.

Play4Kay is a national movement in sports, bringing communities together and honoring cancer warriors in the fight against cancer. The program aims to unite players, coaches, officials and fans to do something for the greater good that exceeds wins and losses in competition.

Funds raised during Play4Kay games go to The Kay Yow Cancer Fund. The fund supports programs that provide access to cancer care and life-saving cancer research and unite people in the fight against cancer.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund also announced the Class of 2025-26 Servant Leader Award honorees, recognizing women’s basketball student-athletes from across all NCAA divisions, the NJCAA, and JUCO programs who exemplify leadership, selflessness, and service in the fight against all cancers affecting women.

In just its second year, the Kay Yow Servant Leader Award has more than doubled in size, growing from 26 honorees in its inaugural class to 65 this season — a reflection of the program’s expanding reach and impact across the sport.

From the Sun Belt the honorees are Coastal Carolina's Paige Bradley, Georiga Southern's Liv Fuller, Georgia State's Cheyenne Holloman, Marshall's Peyton Ilderton, Troy's Leilani Guion and Louisiana's Lilybeth Ba.
