ULM Punches Its Ticket to 2026 NCAA Women's Golf Regionals

NEW ORLEANS – Sun Belt Conference champion ULM, along with individual qualifiers from Texas State, App State, and Old Dominion, will compete in the 2026 NCAA Women’s Golf Regionals.

ULM earned its second NCAA Regional appearance since 2023 and will enter as the No. 9 seed in the Tallahassee Regional, held at Seminole Legacy Golf Club.

The Warhawks will compete against a strong field that includes top-seeded Florida, host Florida State, Wake Forest, UCLA, Eastern Michigan, Kentucky, Purdue, Clemson, North Florida, Little Rock, and UTRGV.

Old Dominion’s Barbara Car, the 2026 Sun Belt individual champion, will compete in the Simpsonville Regional, hosted by Louisville. App State’s Zoe Duval will play in the Chapel Hill Regional.

Texas State’s Yvonne Chamness will make her third consecutive NCAA Regional appearance and will be joined by teammate Grace Quintanilla. Both will compete in the Waco Regional.

Regional play in the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Championships will take place May 11-13 at six regional sites across the country. Each of the regional sites will have 12 teams and six individuals. The top-five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to the NCAA Championships, to be played May 22-27 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.
