NEW ORLEANS – Georgia State’s duo of senior Kaebre Sullivan and sophomore Noalani Nuez has been named Sun Belt Conference Beach Volleyball Pair of the Week for the second week in a row following an undefeated weekend hosting the GSU Diggin’ Duals.

Sullivan and Nuez earn the Panthers’ second Pair of the Week honor of the season after Savannah Ebarb and Bella Troncale were recognized on March 18.

Sullivan and Nuez compiled a 4-0 record playing at the No. 4 spot in Georgia State’s lineup during the team’s home tournament, winning a pair of straight-set matches and notching two three-set victories. The tandem won in three sets (21-12, 19-21, 15-7) against North Alabama before winning consecutive frames (21-18, 21-15) against South Florida to close out day one.

The pair returned for day two with a comeback win over UAB (16-21, 21-17, 15-13) before outlasting conference foe Mercer in straight sets (22-20, 21-16).
