NEW ORLEANS – App State’s Savannah Dada-Mascoll and teammate Taya Powell earned Sun Belt Conference Women’s Tennis Players of the Week honors after undefeated performances. 

Women’s Tennis Player of the Week
Savannah Dada-Mascoll, App State

App State senior Savannah Dada-Mascoll finished the weekend 2-0 with a pair of wins in straight sets over Austin Peay and Wake Forest. She started the weekend with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Sophia Baranov from Austin Peay on court one. The Yorkshire, England native then defeated Nevena Carton 6-1, 6-3 from Wake Forest to close out the weekend.

Women’s Tennis Doubles Team of the Week
Savannah Dada-Mascoll / Taya Powell, App State
 
The App State duo of Savanah Dada-Mascoll and Taya Powell won both of their doubles matches for the weekend in 6-3 fashion. The pair defeated Luca Bohlen and Yi-Ching Huang from Austin Peay on court one doubles. The grouping then took down Krystal Blanch and Nevena Carton from Wake Forest on court one by the same margin.
