ROME, Ga. – The top two seeds in Old Dominion and Troy will meet in the 2026 Sun Belt Conference Men’s Tennis Championship at the Rome Tennis Center. The Monarchs return to the title tilt for the fourth consecutive year, as the Trojans make their first appearance since they won the championship in 2015.
No. 1 seed and No. 54 nationally ranked Old Dominion will face No. 2 seeded Troy at 1 p.m. ET. The championship match will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
Match 6: (1) Old Dominion 4, (4) Louisiana 0

Top-seeded Old Dominion (19-6) used momentum from the doubles point to carry into singles play.
Louisiana won on court one 6-2 as Mason Landreth and Leonard Tramolay picked up the early victory. Old Dominion responded on doubles court three with Felix Obermair and Jean-Karim Oliver de Sardan won 6-3. Tied at 6-6 on court two, the pairing of Zechariah Hamrouni and Piet Steveker fended off four match points to win 10-8 in the tiebreaker to give the Monarchs the early 1-0 lead.
Louisiana (11-7) won a trio of sets on three unfinished courts, however the Monarchs led 2-0 after a 6-3, 6-2 win from Hamrouni on court five. Adam Majchrzak earned a 6-2, 6-0 win on court two to put the Monarchs ahead 3-0. For the second day, Aryan Saleh provided the match-clinching point on court six with a 7-5, 6-3 victory to send the Monarchs back to the championship.
Match 7: (2) Troy 4, (3) Georgia Southern 0

Second-seeded Troy (24-4) won the doubles point to swing into singles to give the Trojans their first appearance in the title match since they won the championship in 2015.
Troy’s tandem of Thiago Drozdowski and Steph Tavares Noale won 6-1 to put the Trojans ahead early. Georgia Southern (11-9) responded on court three as the tandem of Willy Mirarchi and Matthew Mitchell won 7-5. Troy duo Luciano Alcocer and Hiiro Sakamoto secured the doubles point on court two, 7-5.
Troy picked up the first singles point on court three as Yeray Andres Pastor won 6-3, 6-3. Ausias Martin Melo dropped the first set on court one, but responded 6-3, 6-2 in the final two sets to put the Trojans ahead 3-0. Tavares Noale claimed his second clinching match in as many days on court five 7-6 (9-7), 7-5 to return the Trojans to the championship.
