NEW ORLEANS – Following key contributions to weekend series victories, Georgia State’s Will Bartkoski and Texas State’s Ethan Farris earned the Sun Belt baseball weekly honors. 
 
Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Will Bartkoski, Georgia State

Panthers senior right-handed pitcher Will Bartkoski delivered a dominant performance out of the bullpen in Georgia State’s series-opening extra-innings win over ULM. Entering the game in the seventh inning, Bartkoski tossed 6.2 innings of scoreless baseball, conceding just one hit and striking out 10 to earn the win as the Panthers prevailed 10-7 in 13 innings. The Seneca, Kan., product also hurled 1.1 innings of scoreless baseball against then-No. 4 Georgia in midweek action. He held opponents to a .080 batting average on the week. 
 
Baseball Player of the Week
Ethan Farris, Texas State
(RS So., 1B – Cypress, Texas)
 
Bobcats redshirt sophomore first baseman Ethan Farris hit .429 (6-for-14) and slugged 1.143 in a 2-2 week for Texas State, including a weekend series win over Georgia Southern. The Cypress, Texas, native recorded a hit in all four contests, accumulating a double, three home runs, five runs scored and seven RBI. Farris delivered the game-sealing sacrifice fly in Texas State’s series-clinching run-rule win over Georgia Southern, securing the team’s third-straight Sun Belt weekend series victory.
