NEW ORLEANS – Coastal Carolina’s Jada McDougle and Texas State’s Elisabet Runarsdottir earned recognition as the Sun Belt Women’s Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week for their performance last week.
Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Jada McDougle, Coastal Carolina

Coastal Carolina’s Jada McDougle ran a personal best of 7.33 in the 60m sprint to win the Virginia Tech Hokie Invitational. Her time ranks No. 1 in the Sun Belt for the event and is also ranked 34th nationally.
Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Elisabet Runarsdottir, Texas State

At the first meet of the season, Texas State’s Elisabet Runarsdottir placed second overall with a mark of 20.50m/67-3.25 in the weight throw, which registered as the eighth-best mark in school history. The mark is also ranked 27th in the NCAA and second in the SBC.
